Hydronic Heating or Hot Water Heating is the most comfortable heat because there is no air movement required to heat the space.  Hydronic heat works with either natural convection through Baseboard Heating Units or Radiant Energy through Radiant Panels in-floors, in-walls, or in ceilings.  This type of heating has no drafts, no dust, and no mold moving around your building.

The energy used to heat your home or business with hydronic systems is less because the heat transfer of water is ten times greater than hot air.

Radiant Cooling is also possible with the installation of chillers or ground source heat pumps (Geothermal Heat Pumps) to cool the building.  Radiant cooling is much more efficient to operate and again there is no required air movement to spread contaminants throughout the building.  Radiant beams are also used to increase the cooling output where necessary.  

In a well constructed energy efficient building it is possible to provide the heating and cooling necessary with a completely radiant system.  With zoned systems and staged equipment it is possible to have the exact heating and cooling required for each room, zone or floor. This translates into the most efficient system possible.  With the low fluid temperature required for Radiant Heat it is possible to combine a Solar Thermal System to offset some of the energy required for the building through renewable Solar Energy.  With a Geothermal System it is possible to offset the electricity required through a Photovoltaic Solar System which can also provide energy to pump the fluid in the system.
